Our Mission & Former Projects
TisMa has a mission to support families with Autism in many different ways.
We plan to teach learners with Autism and offer instruction with Spelling 2 Communicate.
Our goal is to inspire children and their families to see the potential in everyone!
We will offer opportunities for families and children to socialize and connect with one another.
We take time regularly to Appreciate our members, families and all learners.
We intend to be a Mentor to parents of children with Autism and share all that we have learned on our journey with others.
How TisMa came about!
This organization was created by a mom with Autism that also has a child with Autism. She united with a team of others as she navigated the journey of parenting and wants to share all that she has learned with others. Having a unique perspective by being on the Spectrum herself, Ms. O'Dell heard a lot of discouraging comments from medical providers, despite their judgements, she knew what her daughter needed and did not stop until it was achieved.
Prior Events
In October of 2025 TisMa partnered with What I Learned Today for National Day of Play. This event encouraged families to come for a day of play across all generations. Families started with a sensory walk and then explored large and small motor activities while engaging in child led play.
